I'm Sorry, I Lied by IllusionEvenstar I'm Sorry, I Lied by IllusionEvenstar
I was very, very, VERY unsatisfied with the epilogue of Teen Titans' Season 5 and I really hate the fact that Terra would just forget Beastboy after all they had been through. I have a feeling that she remembers him, but she was in denial. So in this picture, I drew her crying in the background as she watched Beastboy leave...

Wow, you actually managed to make me feel sorry for Terra!

Actually, it ended so crappily because there was supposed to be a 6th season. But for some reason, Cartoon Network cancelled one of their most popular shows!! The finale was supposed to lead into season 6, but sadly that didn't become a thing. I hope I helped explain!

~Mora0711 "That had to have been the absolute worst way to end a series ever!!!"

I couldn't put it any better. "Things Change" was just an awful, painful ordeal. The story was pointless, and poor Beast Boy was a complete tard, did everything wrong possible, driving Terra away. It was almost like the team was so depressed, they felt like Cartoon Network had beat them all up and left them in a dark alley to die, and took it out on that last episode so we'd feel as badly. Flaming hell...

And I came to the party really late. I evidently saw almost nothing but the dumb fillers on CN, making the series seem like disposable teen fluff. Wow, was I wrong. Even after buying the whole series on DVD and the movie, which could have been better, I wanted more. A LOT more. That last episode was just depressing. These are teenagers. They have a lot more life to live, and adventures that carried them along their wild journey of Life, and stories which detail their growth as people. I wanted to see them mature, a little, and I sure as HELL wanted to see some kind of continuation - or at least a better RESOLUTION - of BB's relationship with Terra. And then there's what Jinx was up to, what Slade was doing in his new dark bunker... I felt so ripped off. And the comic just isn't the same at all.

Strangely enough, I got an idea for a fanfic while I was still catching up on what I'd missed by poking at Youtube videos of the first two seasons, and decided to go ahead and write it before I'd gone any further. Now I'm glad I did. It's kind of a sixth season for me, though I spend a lot of time with the characters, letting them grow and experience life and think and breathe, all the things you can't do in a 23 minute show. Which also means it's crazy long, but it keeps me happy. I should post the darn thing here on DA, after I go back and clean some stuff up to align with the series cannon. Surprisingly, I anticipated a few details which showed up in the series later on. I guess I have something of a grasp of what the writers created.

Eh, I'm rambling, need more coffee, then back to the fic. Nice piece, do more. Happier ones next time. Oh, and I like the fact that Terra isn't so darn skinny! Very nice. ;D

I really hated this. And you know what sucks? They ended the whole thing because they thought "there weren't enough viewers". Huh. Guess I was invisible for the last couple of years.
This episode just proved it, that the show ended not 'cause there were no more stories to be told (which would have been helpful, because this was really so unsatisfying), but 'cause they felt no one wanted the Teen Titans anymore. ;-;
Awesome drawing. I like the whole message, and the title is very becoming. Great work. Keep it up. (:

That had to have been the absolute worst way to end a series ever!!! The show before it was far more appropriate!!

I couldn't tell at all wither or not that was Terra or a look-a-like or the real one with no memory. Thank goodness, I've collected all the comics! That at least gave me clues that she really was Terra trying to pick up her life again. I understood why she did it but...

She could have at least stayed friends with him... No one had to know...
